Adventures in Museum Education

After spending two years working at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, I was inspired to begin my graduate school journey at the University of Houston. I am getting my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, with a focus on Art Education. Additionally, I'm receiving a Graduate Certificate in Museum Education.

This semester I took three courses (a full course load, woah):

1. History of Art Education
2. Perspectives of Museum Education
3. Professional Seminar I

This Professional Seminar is an online course comprised of three mini courses:

1. Technology
2. Community Education
3. Research

Throughout my coursework, the Technology mini-course has inspired me to become more involved in ways that technology can help educators. For that reason, I have decided to revive this blog! I hope that this will be a place to post art-making activities I develop for the museum. I also hope to share some of my adventures and struggles throughout my graduate school journey.
